Transformation. What does it mean? A change into a different form or purpose.

How to 'transform' oneself is, at best, illusive. Transformation is analogous to increasing Vitamin D levels . . . you must get into direct sunlight. So too, everyone who comes 'face to face', so to say, in the presence of The Christ, Jesus - Nothing was ever the same again. 

The Gospels catalog ordinary people touched by his presence, his healing, his commission, his words. The result? Changed for the rest of their mortal lives, and a new trajectory for eternal life. Have your past choices changed the trajectory of your life and eternity? Time to stand in - the - Light!

God has made a new and extraordinary way for ordinary people to experience genuine personal transformation. It may seem counterintuitive. It doesn’t begin with striving harder, becoming a better person. It begins with something simpler: a willingness to say "yes", a small measure of faith, and complete trust in an unseen, all-powerful God. What we could never accomplish on our own, God begins to accomplish within us. As the Apostle Paul wrote, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!” This can be the beginning of a new life—starting today and continuing for the rest of your life. Your new beginning can start with one simple step: saying yes to Christ.

God’s great call to action is proclaimed in the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ. In the coming of the Son of God, heaven and earth are summoned to respond. The eternal Word took on flesh and entered our world in humility and grace, yet His arrival remains the most glorious event in human history.

Throughout the Gospel accounts, we see a variety of responses to His coming. The angels responded with worship and praise. The people of Jerusalem, Judea, and the Jordan Valley responded with repentance and confession of sin. The Magi journeyed from afar to offer gifts and worship. Many religious leaders responded with indifference, while Herod responded with hostility and destructive intent.

The question remains as urgent today as it was then: How will you respond to Jesus Christ?

 

We live in a multicultural, polytheistic world where beliefs affecting life quality, opinions about the afterlife, and the nature and workings of God are as varied as sunsets are unique. Yet, there remains a deep uncertainty about the veracity of these claims.

By His achievement, we are not left without direction or hope; rather, we are graciously given access and opportunity to experience God’s exclusive, life-changing love and grace.

"End Times" chatter fills social media. The pundits and "experts" are hyper-focused on political events, natural disasters, declining cultural norms, etc. There is a dearth of biblical & spiritual guidance of readiness for Jesus second coming and how to live so as to please God. This podcast reduces this critical need to its bare essentials, with guaranteed results.

The 'Return of Jesus' is on the horizon. The salient question before us is: How should I live? What matters should occupy my focus? Paul presents poignant, life changing truths to the church in Rome which directly impact the sanctity ("holiness") of their lives and ours by extension.
